Meet the team

Matt

Having been a keen mountain biker for many years, the opportunity arose to turn my cycling passion into a career relatively late in life. Previously I was a technology leader and so I’ve always been a technical problem solver. My dream was to create a shop, which is exciting and welcoming, where the customer feels that they can get answers and help, no matter how big or small the problem. Knowledge is key and we try to make cycle mechanics and maintenance more accessible. I have attained Cytech level 1,2 and 3 qualifications as well as Cytech eBike, Bosch and Shimano certifications.

Laura

Proudly, I am part of this wonderful Team. I’m not a Bike Mechanic but I have other skills which means I am part of the everyday running of the shop.

Watching and learning, being around the incredible vibe at Devils Bykes means that I can help maintain the superb customer service and satisfaction that the team considers a number one priority.

Dan

After leaving school, I considered many different careers. However, none of them had the same draw for me as becoming a bike mechanic. Having raced competitively and ridden bikes for many years, working with bikes was the dream job to me.

From working in small family run companies, to managing busy workshops for large UK bike brands, I have been able to learn and continuously expand my knowledge ,to be able to provide the best service I can by learning from and working with many highly skilled and experienced mechanics. After many years in the industry, I still find myself working with the same passion and enthusiasm, and I am proud to be here at Devils Bykes.

Arun

As long as I can remember, I have been in and around the world of cycle racing. In my family we have lots of bikes, which led me to learn about how they work and how to fix them. While at college I started an apprenticeship with Matt and quickly discovered how much more there was to learn. After a bit over a year, I had started working full time and had achieved my level one and two Cytech qualifications along with a Bosch E-bike certification. I'm so grateful to have a job in which I both enjoy and learn from every day.
